General Notary – KS

A General Notary can notarize documents that do not have a financial commitment such as:

  • Power of Attorney
  • Wills, Estate Plans, Trusts
  • Car Sales
  • Medical Release for Camp
  • Travel Approval for a Minor

Notary Signing Agent – KS

A Notary Signing Agent (or Loan Signing Agent) has additional training, certifications, and background screening for security to handle loan documents in real estate transactions.  Most common documents are:

  • Buying or Selling a Home or Land
  • Refinance
  • Home Equity Line of Credit (HELoC)
  • Reverse Mortgage

Pricing

Discount available for multiple signings within the same notary signing session.  Rates can be negotiated.

General Notary

  • $10 per signature per person
  • $10 per notarization and notary signature
  • $25 mobile fee within KC Metro area (Additional mobile fee if outside KC Metro area)
  • $35 per witness brought by PGI
  • $0.25 per page printed

Notary Signing Agent

  • Personal documents
    • $150 up to 50 page document
    • $300 for 51-100 page document
    • $400 for over 100 page document
  • Business or Corporate documents
    • $500 up to 100 page document
    • $750 for 101 – 150 page document
    • $1,000 for over 150 page document
  • $25 mobile fee within KC Metro area (Additional mobile fee if outside KC Metro area)
  • $35 per witness brought by PGI
  •  Printing
    • If all pages are letter size paper = $0.25 per page for  the first 50 pages, $0.50 each additional page
    • If a combination of letter and legal paper is required, $0.50 per page
  • Included:
    • Scanbacks of document sent to Lender within 2 hours of signing
    • Drop off of document at FedEx for overnight shipping or at Lender’s office
    • Follow-up with Lender to verify receipt of document and an error-free notarization
    • Any additional printing or travel expenses to correct any errors (which are rarely, if ever, needed).

Cancelation & No Show Fees

Cancelations may be done through the calendar invite, text, or phone call.  If we do not acknowledge receipt of the notification, a phone call is required.  When canceling through text or phone call, please include name, date and time of scheduled signing, and reason for cancelation (as exception may be granted for any cancelation fee).

  • 24 hour notice or more – No Charge
  • Day of the signing – $20 + any printing cost incurred
  • No Show – $35 + any printing cost incurred + $35 per witness if needed (the witness will still be paid for their time)

Exceptions or reductions in fees will be considered on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of Pivot Group Investments
